OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating two homicides that took place over the weekend. The homicides mark the city’s 10th and 11th of 2021. The 10th homicide took place early Saturday morning. According to a press release from OKCPD, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of SW 32nd Street around 5:26 a.m. on February 20 to investigate a disturbance among roommates. When they arrived, they found a shooting victim. The 26-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene. OKLAHOMA CITY – A 40-year-old Oklahoma City man was arrested late February 18 after he allegedly assaulted a man who later died from his injuries. According to reports, Oklahoma City police were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 200 block of SE 44th around 10:30 p.m. to do a welfare check. When they arrived on the scene, they found an adult man lying in the courtyard of the complex – the man was critically injured. Unfortunately for him, the crazy weather is exactly what gave him away.
